SCANSION

Nature by Emily Dickinson (iambic)
The morns/are meeker/than they/were,
The nuts/are getting/brown;
The berry’s/cheek is/plumper,
The rose/is out /of town.

The maple/wears a/gayer scarf,
The field/a scarlet/gown.
Lest I/should be/old-fashioned,
I’ll put/a trinket/on.

^ '/^'^/'^/'
^'/^'^/'
^'^/'^/'^
^'/^'/^'

^'^/'^/'^'

Alright, this is my attempt at scansion of this poem…I am not sure how to put the marks above the words on here so I hope you understand what I was trying to do below. If anyone knows how to do this please inform me, I would love to know.
